3 W eeks.
The puppies are now three weeks old! They have their eyes and ears fully open and can walk quite well. They often sit up and watch you walk by twitching their ears as they hear you talk. They are looking like regular little dogs :)
All the pups are trying out their barks, growls, whines and howls. They are starting to wrestle and play and practicing being puppies. They are teething this week and enjoy chewing on each other. You can just feel their sharp little teeth coming in. They have had their first nail clip and their first worming.
The next video will be of their first meal of solid food!

3 1/2 W eeks.
The puppies are now 23 days old! I gave them their first meal of cottage cheese (suggested by the Monks of New Skete) ground deer meat (free from a friend) and scotch broth (cooking for our dinner). As you can see they knew just what to do and gobbled it up!
I'll give them two meals a day of this for the first three days and then move into soaked kibble. We want to move them outside this week, but we are waiting for the weather to warm up just a little bit more.
Wynn is a great mom, but I think she is glad for the help in filling those big tummies!
